Rizal Golden Coolers, also known as the Rizal Xentromall Golden Coolers is a professional Filipino basketball team competing in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) 2023, that will represent the province of Rizal. The Team began to join MPBL during the 2018-2019, Datu Cup Season as the “Rizal Crusaders” before changing to its current name.
Initially, the team would be called the Rizal Ankle Breakers. However, was changed due to criticism as the name didn’t relate to the province theme. Currently, the Rizal Golden Coolers play at the Ynares Center, allowing the local basketball fans to support and cheer for their hometown team. Like other teams in the MPBL, Rizal Golden Coolers showcases local basketball talent and provides a platform for players to showcase their skills and passion for the game. The league aims to promote grassroots basketball and foster a sense of community pride among the fans.
