Sarangani Marlins are a professional basketball team currently playing in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League. It is one of the three teams based in Mindanao.
Sarangani Marlins started playing in 19998 for the Metropolitan Basketball Association (MBA). Back then, they weren’t still known as Sarangani Marlins but rather SocSarGen Marlins. With 23 players in it, the Soccsksargen Marlins joined the MPBL in 2029-2020 season before changing their name to Sarangani Marlins in mid-season.
